On December 27, 2025, the Magic of Athens Society presented an art exhibition disguised as a party
— or maybe a party disguised as an exhibition.
The event took place at Piree Super Studio, transforming the space into a Universe-themed immersive environment, where art, sound, and lighting functioned as a unified experience.
Elegant Asymmetry undertook the design, technical implementation and full audiovisual support, with the aim of creating an extraterrestrial color atmosphere that would enhance the event concept and the audience’s mood.
Lighting design & color atmosphere
The basis of the concept was based on a lighting design study adapted to the space and the artistic narrative of Magic of Athens.
Dynamic lighting scenes, strong contrasts, and controlled dark fields were used to create an immersive color atmosphere reminiscent of a science fiction cinematic setting.
Lighting did not simply function as support, but as a key narrative tool of the event lighting, determining the pace, climaxes and the visual experience of the guests. The construction functioned as a visual anchor of the space, combining industrial aesthetics with sci-fi references.
Custom UFO DJ Booth & special effects
The main visual highlight of the event was the custom UFO DJ Booth, designed exclusively for this project. The structure served as a visual anchor for the space, combining industrial aesthetics with sci-fi references.
To enhance the experience, the following were used:
Smoke effects
CO₂ jets
Confetti effects
which were activated in sync with the music, enhancing the dynamics of the dancefloor and the sense of audience participation.
Integrated audiovisual support from Elegant Asymmetry
Elegant Asymmetry provided full audio, lighting and technical support, ensuring:
- Clear and balanced sound system
- Stable and reliable lighting control
- Perfect coordination of equipment and human resources
- Continuous technical support throughout the event
The technical team worked quietly in the background so that guests could experience the experience without any technical distraction.

The Magic of Athens Universe Party was not just another event in Athens.
It was a holistic event design experience, where lighting, sound, special effects and artistic curation were connected into a single narrative.
